Born in Strabane, Fyffe worked as a journalist and became active in the Ulster Unionist Party.[1] He was the Chairman of the North West Cricket Union,[2] and was known for his strident opposition to civil rights marches.[1]
Fyffe was narrowly elected in North Tyrone at the Northern Ireland general election, 1969, serving until the Parliament was prorouged in 1972.[2]
